🔒 What We Don't Collect

VoxScript does not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Audio or video files you transcribe
• Transcription text or results
• Any content you create or import
• Your precise location

📱 How VoxScript Works

All transcription processing happens entirely on your device:

• On-Device Processing — Audio and video files are processed locally using WhisperKit AI technology running on your iPhone's processor
• No Cloud Uploads — Your files never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export them
• No Internet Required — After the initial download of AI models, VoxScript works completely offline
• No Account Required — No account creation, login, or user registration needed

🎛️ Permissions

VoxScript requests the following iOS permissions to function:

• Photo Library Access — To select videos from your photo library for transcription. Files remain on your device
• Files Access — To import audio and video files from the Files app or iCloud Drive. Files remain on your device

These permissions are used solely for their stated purpose and do not enable any data collection.

🤖 AI Model Downloads

On first use, VoxScript downloads Whisper AI models from Apple's content delivery network. These downloads are handled by iOS and do not involve any data collection by VoxScript. The models are stored locally on your device.

💾 Data Storage

All data created by VoxScript (transcriptions, settings, downloaded models) is stored locally on your device in the app's sandbox. This data is:

• Only accessible by VoxScript
• Not backed up to iCloud by default (follows iOS backup policies)
• Deleted when you uninstall the app
• Never transmitted to external servers

📤 Exports and Sharing

When you export or share transcriptions:

• VoxScript uses iOS's native share sheet
• You control where exported files are sent
• VoxScript does not have access to or knowledge of where you share files
• The sharing functionality is provided entirely by iOS

🔗 Third-Party Services

VoxScript uses the following services:

• WhisperKit — On-device AI processing. No data is sent externally
• Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the app (feature popularity, crash reports, general device type). This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally
• Apple StoreKit — For in-app purchases, handled entirely by Apple

VoxScript does not use any advertising networks and never sells data.

📊 Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how VoxScript is used and to fix bugs. This includes:

• Which features are used (e.g., recording vs file import)
• App crashes and errors
• General device type and iOS version
• Country (not precise location)

This data is completely anonymous — we cannot identify individual users. Your audio, transcriptions, and personal content are never included in analytics.

👶 Children's Privacy

VoxScript does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The anonymous analytics we collect cannot identify individual users of any age.

⚖️ Your Rights

VoxScript does not collect personal data, so there is no personal information to request, delete, or correct. For analytics:

• You can limit analytics via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics
• Analytics data is anonymous and not linked to you personally
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

Your privacy is protected by design, not by policy alone.
